The plot of the show is about the struggles Sandhya (name of the lead character of the show) faces, who aspires to become an IPS officer but the middle class values confine her to the house-hold boundaries. The theme of this show is miscellaneous skits performed on stage by Kapil and supporting actors. After a skit, various Bollywood actors and directors are invited on the show to promote their films. Navjot Singh Siddhu is the permanent guest on the show and Kapil also interacts with his audience present in the studio. Kapil Sharma has won the title of ‘Entertainer of the Year’ by CNN-IBN Indian of the year awards.
